Meet Janelle Hawkins
Hawkins Design Collective started in 2019 as an accident. As an Interior Designer, my fellow designers kept asking for my help with their AutoCAD and 3D renderings. They knew I have a love for the work and was quick and efficient at it. As I took on more and more work, I decided to make this my business focus. I love the technical side of design and am happy to be able to do this everyday.
I started my career with a BFA in Technical Theatre, emphasis in Set Design. After moving to Denver, I shifted my focus to interiors. I took classes at Arapahoe Community College to gain proper training in the field. At ACC is where I discovered my love of 3D design. After working for others for 5 years in the interiors industry, I am happy to have started Hawkins Design Collective and have been in business since 2019. Now I am located in Lexington, NC. I am happy to be back in my home state after living elsewhere for 16 years!
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my bulldogs. I also enjoy going to football games, taking trips to go snowboarding, hiking, and working in my garden.
